"My experience in EDU-X718P [Remote] Learning Readiness with Basic Google Tools was everything I could have hoped for and more! This class gave me the basics in Google Tools that I did not have much experience with in the classroom. After taking this course, I will be able to engage my students with enhanced lessons making instruction fun, not only for my students, but for me as well. Furthermore, by taking this course, it will allow me to prepare content that my students will have access to at all times and they will be able to work with at their own pace." -- Ryan Yamashiro, Educator, Pomona, CA
"[EDU-X718P [Remote] Learning Readiness with Basic Google Tools] was a great investment of my time as the course prepared me to use different Google apps and extensions in my classroom and for distance learning. Mr. Matthew Evans has designed a well-organized course with relevant reading materials, presentations, and assignments. I appreciate his detailed instructions on assignments and constructive feedback. After completing this course, I feel more confident in using Google Meet and Screencastify to enhance student learning during distance learning. I can’t wait to implement what I have learned and to share my knowledge with my students and teammates. I would recommend this course to any educator who is looking to use Google apps and extensions more efficiently and effectively." -- Linda Lam, Educator, CA
"I have several takeaways from the course. First and foremost, I was totally unprepared for the remote learning that took place following the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. I was very limited in my experience with every basic Google tool. Second, I have a greater appreciation for all things Google! The knowledge I have gained from this course has equipped me with so many tools that I can utilize with my students moving forward whether instruction occurs remotely, via a hybrid model, or if we return to the traditional on-site model of teaching. Finally, I have gained a lot of confidence in my technology skills. Instead of having to ask my peers for support, hopefully they will ask me!" -- Teresa Norton, Educator, Madera, CA
"I am thankful for this course. It has helped me become confident in Google Tools that I will need to use next year in my classroom especially if we are remote learning." -- Laura Danczyk, Educator, Helendale, CA
"I learned a lot from taking Basic Google Tools course. I am applying my knowledge to new courses." -- Kineiko Woodson, Educator, Fort Bragg Schools
"The technical course was explicitly laid out and I could use the Google material immediately in my classroom. The instructor even Emailed me to see how I was getting along. This class is the best that I have ever taken online and I would highly recommend it to remote educators!" -- Charles B. Apperson, Educator
