Course Description

Provide Every Student with Learning Strategies that Work with Their Strengths and Weaknesses

Educators will learn effective strategies and best practices for designing and delivering instruction to all learners through the use of multiple intelligences models for learning in the K-12 learning environment. They will learn about students' multiple intelligences and learning styles through research and reflection. They will also learn about managing the day to day responsibilities of teaching students with different learning styles. Educators will apply their deep understanding of multiple intelligences models through the development of a comprehensive lesson plan.

  • Understand student learning styles in relation to student multiple intelligences
  • Identify student learning styles
  • Provide effective strategies to engage and motivate students according to their learning style(s)
  • Apply multiple intelligences theory in your classroom
  • Create individualized student instruction and diversify lesson plans

Who Should Attend: This course provides continuing education for those interested in learning the Multiple Intelligences Theory to provide differentiated strategies to promote learning, which would include educators, administrators, and any other interested stakeholders, such as elementary school teachers, secondary teachers, instructional coaches, curriculum coordinators, literacy coaches, Response to Intervention teams, beginning teachers, and school administrative teams.
