Course Description
Begin this Exploration and Bring History into Today's Classroom
This course is designed for K-14 educators to develop an appreciation for the Trojan War. You will be guided by an audio course (which averages seven hours), published by the Recorded Book's Modern Scholar, in a journey that begins by studying and reflecting on the Trojan War. Focus will be on an examination of the Trojan War using archaeological and literary evidence. As a final project, you will create a virtual learning experience for K-14 students.

- Examine archaelogical and literary evidence of the Trojan War
- Discern the quality and relevance of the archaelogical and literary evidence of the Trojan War
- Reflect on ways that the search for evidence of the Trojan War is relevant today
- Utilize material related to the Trojan War to create media-rich instruction for K-14 students

Who Should Attend: This course provides continuing education for teachers (Grades K-14) looking to foster a deeper appreciation for history and social science and instill the same in their students
