Master Ambulatory Care Proficiencies via Electronic Health Records
This course provides comprehensive ambulatory EHR training and explores its role in patient clinics and clinical practice management. Students will examine the full spectrum of the ambulatory module, including the clinical and practice management desktops required to build and maintain efficient operations. Through hands-on engagement with these desktops, students will gain a deeper understanding of the vital clinical and financial interdependencies that drive modern clinic operations.
Learner Outcomes
- Navigate ambulatory EHR desktops and understand their relationship to other clinical practice EHR desktops, allowing caregivers to access, track, document, review, and monitor the patient encounters
- Utilize ambulatory desktops to track clinical and financial interoperability, ensuring systems seamlessly work together for patient care coordination to enable timely and safe care
- Access a customizable view of provider clinic and hospital schedules, allowing providers to edit schedules, add bookings, and create daily workloads for efficient practice management
- Proactively monitor groups of patients, registries, interactive worklists, and physician office performance
