Course Description

Credit Validation for DoDEA Participants Only

This two-credit graduate course is designed for current Multilingual Learner Program Site leaders. It will equip participants with the skills and strategies necessary for effective facilitation, conflict resolution, and managing challenging behaviors in group settings. Using Lemons to Lemonade as the primary text, participants will learn how to transform difficult situations into productive outcomes.

Learner Outcomes

  • Develop effective facilitation skills to conduct productive meetings and workshops
  • Master conflict resolution techniques to address and resolve disputes constructively
  • Learn practical methods for managing disruptive behaviors to maintain focus and achieve objectives
