Credit Validation for DoDEA Participants Only

This course will explore DoDEA expectations and responsibilities in supporting student protection, focusing on Student Threat and Suicide Risk Assessment, Problematic Sexual Behavior in Children and Youth, and Section 504, through an examination of the DoDEA Administrative Instructions related to each topic.

Learner Outcomes

  • Enhance their understanding of DoDEA’s expectations in supporting student protection
  • Gain a deeper understanding of DoDEA’s expectations regarding Student Threat and Suicide Risk Assessment
  • Develop their knowledge of DoDEA’s expectations regarding Problematic Sexual Behavior in Children and Youth, and learn how to use the PSB Non-Clinical Referral Tool (NCRT)
  • Expand their understanding of DoDEA’s expectations regarding Section 504
