Credit Validation, Convenient Online Format

This course will fulfill the educational requirements for the Supervision and Coordination Credential. This credential will authorize the holder to supervise and coordinate subjects and classes in all types of Career Technical and Adult Education Designated Subjects programs.

Learner Outcomes

Fulfill requirements for the Designated Subjects Supervision and Coordination Credential
Demonstrate knowledge of Federal and State Adult Education and Career Technical Education laws, regulations, policies and California Education Code
Complete a Field Work Project that reflects evidence of their knowledge, skills and abilities in becoming a successful Adult Education or Career Technical Education supervisor

Prerequisites

Have a clear full-time Designated Subjects AE or CTE Credential, three years of full-time teaching experience, and pass the CBEST test. Candidates meeting all requirements may apply for the Designated Subjects Supervision and Coordination Credential.
