Incorporate Tech Skills into Your Curriculum Now to Develop College- and Career-Ready Students
Start early to help ease your students' jump from K-12 to college and/or career by developing the tech skills necessary in today's world. Many students begin their next step lacking in technical skills that college faculty and employers expect from Day One. This course covers best practices and how to create assignments utilizing a variety of valuable tech applications that both higher education and employers are expecting from today's students. In this course, you will create student projects using Google Docs, Google Slides, Google Sheets, plus some digital art, graphic design, photo, and video applications. Start embedding these valuable skills at any grade level!
Learner Outcomes
- Utilize file sharing techniques and methods for collecting digital student assignments
- Deploy best practices when creating assignments for any age using a variety of Google Suite and other technologies
- Develop Google Docs, Google Slides, and Google Sheets assignments that include essential formatting know how
- Create digital art and graphic design assignments using a variety of technologies
- Design photo and video assignments using a variety of technologies

Number of Units: 3.0 graduate level extension credit(s) in semester hours
