Course Description

Credit Validation for KQED Participants Only

Media projects can feel new and different, but this course will show you how to apply all your best practices and incorporate new media-specific assessment techniques. In this free, hands-on course you will learn about formative and summative assessment formats for media projects (audio, video, infographic, or image), explore ways to set up student self-reflection, along with ideas for peer feedback, and create a rubric or checklist for an actual student media project that supports your curriculum goals, no matter what content you teach.

You can register for this free course at https://teach.kqed.org/p/assessing-student-media
