Course Description

Credit Validation, Convenient Online Format

This course provides candidates with an understanding of how to become an effective teacher of adults. Strategies for teaching to a diverse group of adult learners will be provided including differentiated instruction techniques for special needs and English learners.

Develop an understanding of the andragogy and principles of teaching adults along with key concepts that inform teaching practices

Who Should Attend: Teachers who need to fulfill the requirements for the Designated Subjects 3-year preliminary Adult Education credential (issued 2/1/2013)
