Course Description

Enhance Your Teaching with the Engagement of Google Tools

Take the next step and create curriculum that employs the use of Google tools.  Now that you have taken the time to learn these tools, plan to effectively use them in your teaching and/or as a professional development opportunity for others. This course requires creating a Google Slides presentation that presents either a curricular plan (for a 5 day period or 5 lessons) or a professional development training plan, that integrates the Google tools learned in either EDU-X718P, Learning Readiness with Basic Google Tools, EDU-X772M, Google Tools for Collaborative Teaching or EDU-X777L, Advanced Google Tools or any combination of these courses.

Learner Outcomes

  • Demonstrate understanding of the appropriate use of newly discovered Google tools to complement curriculum
  • Recognize the value of Google tools to educators and students
  • Integrate engaging technology in curriculum with Google tools

Number of Units: 1.0 graduate level extension credit(s) in semester hours

Who Should Attend: This course provides continuing education for teachers (K-12) who want to plan curriculum using Google applications learned in prerequisite course(s).

Course Materials:  There are no textbook requirements for this course.  A Google account and Google Chrome web browser are necessary to successfully complete this course.
