Credit Validation for DoDEA Participants Only

This course will help participants gain a deeper understanding of emotional and mental wellbeing, as well as ways to care for our physical health. Participants will read four nonfiction texts and engage in self-reflection during the reading and book discussions. Additionally, the group will explore other texts as resources for enhancing wellbeing for both teachers and students throughout the school year. They will discuss these books with a Professional Learning Team, making connections to their own lives and teaching practices, with a focus on supporting both students and teachers. At the end of the course, participants will submit a final reflection paper and methods for increasing wellbeing at school to the instructor.
