Credit Validation for DoDEA Participants Only
In this graduate credit course, participants will understand the role of the school psychologist and provide consistent school psychology expectations for all schools in the District.Learner Outcomes
- Analyze the role of the school psychologist within the Pacific East District to develop consistent expectations across all schools
- Evaluate DoDEA administrative instructions, regulations, and policies to effectively implement school psychology programs
- Design a cohesive school psychology program that meets the needs of students, incorporating best practices and DoDEA guidelines
- Implement strategies for addressing transgender and civil rights issues, as well as other critical student support needs, in line with DoDEA policies
- Create school-specific processes for Student Threat Assessments, Suicide Risk Assessments, and Problematic Sexual Behavior in Children and Youth (PSB-CY) that align with district expectations
