Engage Individually with Literature to Make a Positive Change in the Classroom

After completing the corresponding R.E.A.D. Part I Series course, launch a critical dialogue using Art Lab for Kids: 52 Creative Adventures in Drawing, Painting, Printmaking, Paper, and Mixed Media-For Building Artists of All Ages (Lab Series) with other related writings and/or videos from the field of education that you will individually research. Engage within a professional learning community, promoting continuous improvement and professional development. Build on the ideas and perspectives of Art Lab for Kids: 52 Creative Adventures in Drawing, Painting, Printmaking, Paper, and Mixed Media-For Building Artists of All Ages (Lab Series), pursuing avenues of further research and action to improve education.

This course allows you to engage individually with literature to make a positive change in the classroom. It is one of many in the University of San Diego’s R.E.A.D. Part I and Part II Series that allows you to complete your reading and assignments at your own pace and when it is convenient for you!

Who Should Attend:  This course provides continuing education for teachers (K-12) who incorporate art into their curriculum.

Course Materials: Access to the same book from the prerequisite course.  Internet access is required.
