Credit Validation for Federal Education Association Participants Only
Barriers into Bridges: Building our Cultural Humility Practice and Community is a follow-up conference-based course for participants in previous Cultural Humility trainings. Focusing on application of theory into practice, participants will reflect, analyze, and problem-solve together using the previously acquired principles of cultural humility. At the end of this conference-based course, participants will have expanded their community of Cultural Humility practice.

- Apply principles of Cultural Humility consistently in everyday educational practice
- Utilize an analytical and observational approach to seek solutions for educational inequity
- Participate in a community of practice that lends guidance and support
Course Details
Number of Units: 1.0 graduate level extension credit(s) in semester hours
Who Should Attend: This course provides continuing education for for K-12 educators stationed overseas in the Federal Education Association Bargaining Unit. The NEA Human and Civil Rights program, active in Europe as the Federal Education Association Europe HCR program, understands that education advocacy and social justice advocacy go hand in hand.
