Learn How to Make Small Changes for Positive Results in Your Life, in Your Teaching and with Your Students
Why do we do the things we do? Why don't we change, even when we want to? The answer lies in our habits, the daily behaviors that make up our identity and our outcomes. Students in this course will examine the underlying foundation of habits; how and why they are formed, and why they are so important. Participants will learn how to identify and change habits in their own lives, with their students and in their classroom practice.

- Identify and analyze the four stages of the habit cycle
- Learn and apply the Four Laws of Behavior Change to your teaching practice
- Create and implement a Habit Makeover to bring about positive behavior changes in the classroom and beyond

Who Should Attend: This course provides continuing education for teachers (K-12) and instructors at the community college level, who are wanting to understand habits and how making small changes can bring about big results in the classroom.
