Create Informed and Ethical Media Content in a AI-Driven World

This course equips educators with the skills to analyze and interpret various forms of media, fostering a deeper understanding of media literacy’s role in student learning. Participants will learn how to engage students in applying media literacy, AI, and computer science principles, encouraging them to create informed and ethical media content. By the end of the course, participants will be prepared to guide their students in becoming critical thinkers and responsible digital creators in an increasingly AI-driven world.

Number of Units: 3.0 graduate level extension credits in semester hours

Who Should Attend: K-12 teachers interested in not only using AI effectively and ethically, but those who want to teach Critical AI Literacy.
