Course Description

This graduate-level course equips school counselors with the tools to effectively design, manage, and advocate for comprehensive counseling programs that support every student’s success. Through interactive sessions, applied planning, and data-driven reflection, participants will strengthen their ability to align counseling practices with school-wide goals, close achievement gaps, and promote equitable outcomes for all students.
School counselors will engage with the ASCA Student Standards to build delivery plans, create targeted interventions, and lead advocacy efforts that increase program visibility and impact. The course combines face-to-face meetings, applied projects, and collaborative reflection to ensure participants leave with actionable strategies they can immediately implement.
