AVID Converge SI Pop-Up - EDC-X773Y
Course Description
Credit Validation for AVID Participants Only
AVID Converge SI Pop-Up is a summer professional learning training designed to introduce new Site Teams to AVID’s philosophy and instructional practices. At the same time, more experienced sites can choose from a variety of advanced AVID Communities of Practice to deepen and refine their understanding of AVID methodologies and strategies for successful implementation in their schools.
This three-day professional learning experience offers content-specific training for districts and schools, along with dedicated time for Site Teams to collaborate, explore educator agency, and develop actionable plans to bring back to their campuses.
Participants can earn 1.5 units of graduate-level extension credit (semester hours) by attending the training and completing all required components, including pre-work, active participation, completion of all assignments, and engagement during Site Team time.
AVID Converge SI Pop-Ups were created in response to your feedback and requests for a summer professional learning experience that captures the learning, planning, and inspiration of AVID Summer Institute — but delivered locally.
