Fostering Cultures of Growth - EDC-X747Y
Course Description
Credit Validation for DoDEA Participants Only
All of our school and district priorities center around the imperative of Continuous School Improvement. This focus on growth is very familiar to educators. Educators strive to help students grow both academically and personally. Similarly, schools and districts aim to help educators develop their capacity to teach effectively. However, discussions about growth and the growth mindset often emphasize individual choices. Research shows that an organization’s culture significantly impacts the amount of growth it achieves. This course explores ideas about organizational growth through the lens of Mary Murphy's book Cultures of Growth.
