Course Description
Revise or Create New Curriculum with this Convenient Online Self-Paced Course
This course is designed for educators in the PK-12 classroom and allows for creative planning of new curriculum or revision of existing curriculum, with the goal of targeting your students' inspiration through learning. Participants will choose an instructor they feel best fits their subject matter and grade level. Participants' coursework plans can include the introduction of new materials, creating new projects, designing new lessons, implementing new resources, revising current curriculum or implementing a new strategy and/or new elements. After instructor approval of the coursework plan, participants will then work on creating their new curriculum, stopping after each gallery to submit and wait for instructor feedback before continuing on.
This is a 3-unit course. We also offer this course in a 6-unit option (EDU-X721U6). Make sure to enroll in the correct course based on the number of units you wish to earn, but only choosing one of the unit-valued options. This course is to be completed over the Spring/Summer 2025 term in our Online Self-Paced format within set start and end dates. Work at your own pace within the set time frame and receive instructor feedback after each assignment submitted. You will create a coursework plan and work toward a culminating project that details your planning and preparation including a final portfolio that brings it all together.

Enrollment for this 3-unit course is available January 13 through August 18, 2025.
Choose an instructor - Instructor Bios. Enroll in the section that corresponds to the instructor that you choose. Each instructor has a 3 and 6-unit section, but only choose one of the instructors with one of their unit options.
Final submission deadline for all assignments is on or before September 8, 2025.

Course Format: Online Self-Paced* to be completed within set dates, March 3 - September 8, 2025 (2 check-ins plus final project)

This Online Self-Paced course is created with a specific start and end date. Your instructor will provide feedback via written responses on your submissions and final project. Grades are based on Gallery submissions and your final project. Course opens for student participation on March 3, 2025 and you have until September 8, 2025 to complete the course. Transcript completion date will reflect the date your final project is submitted.
