Course Description

Credit Validation for DoDEA Participants Only

DoDEA educators will apply a variety of systemic instructional best practices to support excellent instruction for all students. Topics included in the course are: Elementary Social-Emotional Learning within curriculum maps, co-teaching in the secondary classroom, assessment, technology, and ISS roles and responsibilities.

Learner Outcomes

  • Use DoDEA Science instructional resources to support authentic science learning of the science and engineering practices and crosscutting concepts
  • Engage in discourse around student work to identify and develop shifts in practice
  • Use the science and engineering practices as the pedagogy for learning science
  • Use reflection tools to collaborate and support ongoing reflection
  • Increase application of Core Instruction strategies for academic language, academic discourse, and inquiry to promote student-centered learning

Refund Policy: All Credit Validation enrollments are refundable, less a $25 fee, if requested within 30 days of enrollment date. There will be no refunds for Credit Validation after the allotted 30 days.
