Course Description

Credit Validation for San Bernardino Participants Only

This course is designed to support AVID Senior teachers, since its curriculum is the most unique of all grade levels. Participants will learn about all the updates of financial aid, college applications, entrance tests, and the AVID senior curriculum, including Senior Tutorials.

Learner Outcomes

  • Receive continuous support throughout the year to be able to teach the AVID 12th grade curriculum to fidelity
  • Hone their skills to teach the AVID curriculum WICOR (Writing, Inquiry, Collaboration, Organization, Reading), as well as the specialized senior curriculum that includes, but is not limited to, college and financial aid applications and Senior Tutorials

Who Should Attend: This course provides continuing education for AVID Senior Elective Teachers.
