Asset-Based Pedagogy: Empowering Diverse Learners is a course for K-12 educators seeking to create inclusive and empowering learning environments. Participants will explore the principles and practices of asset-based pedagogy, focusing on building relationships, creating inclusive communities, leveraging student assets, empowering student voice, assessing and reflecting on their practices, and sustaining and scaling asset-based pedagogy through collaboration and professional learning communities. By the end of the course, participants will be equipped with the knowledge and strategies to leverage student strengths, promote inclusivity, and improve student engagement and achievement.
