In this course participants will analyze and explore research on play and the crucial role it plays in a child's everyday learning. Participants will explore different types of play and the benefits of each type. This course will focus on the role of the educator within play. Participants will explore the importance of intentionally planning play throughout the day across all developmental domains.

Who Should Attend: This course provides continuing education for Multiple Subject credentialed teachers needing ECE units to teach TK.
Prerequisites
Students enrolling in this course must have successfully completed EDC-X711W, EDC-X712W, EDC-X713W, AND EDC-X714W; OR EDC-X724U and EDC-X725U, a bachelor’s degree, and California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential.
