Course Description

Credit Validation for Jacobs Institute for Innovation in Education Only

Through the Jacobs Teen Innovation Challenge, educators and teenagers will develop an innovator’s mindset and the skills to create solutions to local or global problems. Educators will lead their students using the Pactful.org software to work through design thinking phases to create a culminating video pitch.

Learner Outcomes

  • Learn how to access and utilize the Pactful curriculum
  • Be introduced to and practice using design thinking aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals
  • Lead students in a culminating video pitch showcasing their usage of design thinking skills

Number of Units: 1.0 - 3.0 graduate level extension credit(s) in semester hours, choose one option only
