Course Description

Credit Validation for Dyslexia Training Institute Participants Only

Participants will learn practical strategies to improve reading comprehension, fluency and vocabulary development as well as the research that supports these strategies. You will be given many opportunities to engage in and discuss simulations.  All class chats, class content and discussion boards will be monitored and moderated by the instructors.

  • Outline and implement strategies for improving reading fluency
  • Develop and implement strategies for improving vocabulary development
  • Determine key researchers in the field of reading

Important: This is the fifth course in the Dyslexia Certificate Program (DCP). Students must be registered for the corresponding Dyslexia Training Institute course before registering with USD for academic credit.
