High-Quality Courses to Help You Become a Stronger Project Manager
Our fully online Project Management Certificate program is designed to sharpen your project management skills and deepen your understanding of essential strategies and methodologies.
You’ll learn to plan and manage projects using standard Project Management Institute (PMI)® methodology while building a solid foundation for project success by applying the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) framework. Offered by the University of San Diego’s Division of Professional and Continuing Education, this multi-course certificate program provides a high-quality learning experience focused on such essential issues as:
- Overall project management including introduction, integration, scope and stakeholder management
- Project scheduling, cost assessment/analysis and risk management
- Effective project communication
- Principles of agile project management
- Project quality, procurement and closure protocols
Changes Between the 7th & 6th edition of the PMBOK® Guide
Aligned with the launch of the 7th edition PMBOK® Guide in August 2021, our program has been redeveloped to meet emerging technology, dynamic approaches, and rapid workforce changes. Our comprehensive four-course certificate program prepares you for this evolving profession, enabling you to get projects done and deliver value. The greatest change between the two versions is that the 6th edition was designed by the PMI to be project manager and process-focused, whereas, the new 7th edition is project team and outcome-focused.
