Learn to Develop Global Competence in Today's P-12 Students
Global education incorporates learning about diverse cultures, geographies, histories, and current issues both locally and globally. Teaching for global competence emphasizes the interconnectedness and importance of people near and far to understand and take action to address issues of significance. Develop your students’ skills to engage with their global peers and highlight actions they can take as citizens of the world.
This series of courses, created by the California Global Education Project, provides quality professional development to improve instructional practices and lead to increased achievement for all students, with a primary focus on preparing all students to be globally competent, engaged citizens of our interconnected and changing world.
