Customized Program
Keeping up with the new terminology in the medical field is important for career development and advancement. This program covers a wide variety of medical vocabulary related to: diseases, symptoms, investigations/lab testing, treatment, examination, and prevention. The program will also address language related to bodily parts and functions. This program is available for a private schedule at your organization or at our site.
Who Should Attend
Health care professionals who speak English as a Second Language.
Instruction is delivered in the classroom format at the English Language Academy (ELA), on the campus of the University of San Diego or may be customized as a private schedule at your organization.
- Use western medical terminology
- Communicate the parts and functions of the body
- Increase communications of systems, diseases, and symptoms
- Speak more clearly about Infections and Psychiatric disorders, and diseases associated with the nervous system
An advanced level of English proficiency is required.
