Customized Program
This program is available as a customized version for a private schedule at your organization or at our site.
The Business English program is focused on building conversational English language skills to help business professionals comfortably converse in a business setting. Areas of concentration include vocabulary work, presentations, telephone skills, meetings and negotiations, business writing, socializing, and developing cultural competence in Business English situations. Oral skill development will include an emphasis on clear speech patterns for effective communication in spoken English.
Who Should Attend
Business professionals who speak English as a Second Language.
Instruction is delivered in the classroom format at the English Langauge Academy (ELA), on the campus of the University of San Diego or may be customized as a private schedule at your organization.
- Expand business vocabulary
- Improve overall writing, as well as business writing
- Gain confidence when making business presentations and in communicating in an American business setting
- Speak comfortably in English in formal business meetings
An intermediate or advanced level of English proficiency is required.
To meet the minimum age requirement, a student must be 21 years old to apply to our Business English program and 18 years old to enroll into other programs.
